Teodora Rodić, DMD
Biography

Teodora Rodic, DMD (Dental Medicine Doctor), was born on the 28th of September 1989 in Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she finished elementary, middle and grammar school with highest marks, which she was awarded with Vuk’s diploma for. She graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2014, with the average mark 9.56/10.00. She was awarded with certificates for the best student of the first and second year. During her studies she published two scientific papers regarding dental prosthodontics and oral physiology.

After graduating from university and finishing the obligatory internship, Dr Teodora passed the state’s exam for a licence in dental practice.  She also perfected her knowledge in orthodontics from 2014 until 2017 during a three-year internship at the Clinics for Orthodontics of the School of Dentistry in Belgrade, under a supervision of Professor Dr Branislav Glišić, DMD, orthodontic specialist. Dr Teodora gained experience in other fields of dentistry working in several dental offices in Belgrade from her graduation until today.

Apart from dental practice, Dr Teodora performs scientific research related to the influence of chronical diseases on the jaw bone, with the PhD studies in the Skeletal biology module at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, Serbia, under a supervision of Professor Dr Marija Djuric, MD. During the 2018 Dr Teodora spent six months at a study visit to the University Clinic Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany, at the Insitute for Osteology and Biomechanics, as a scholar of the prestigious German Foundation for Academic Exchange (DAAD).

Dr Teodora successfully performs restaurative dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontology and oral surgery. She knows English and German language.
